Demag DCS-Pro chain hoist
DCS-Pro chain hoist
The benefits of impressive new Demag Chain Hoists with infinitely-variable speed control allow you to handle high-quality and critically sensitive parts and position them gently and carefully.
The new variable-speed DCS-Pro and DCMS-Pro Chain Hoists represent high efficiency and safety. Assembly and positioning processes can be controlled with greater precision. The hoist is programmed to allow the lifting and lowering speeds to increase nearly twice the rated speeds under a partial load condition. The control unit and the frequency inverter are integrated beneath the electrical equipment cover as a compact plug-in modular sub-assembly to conserve space.
In comparison with the proven two speed DC-Pro, the new Demag DCS-Pro and DCMS-Pro Chain Hoists offer your further benefits:
· Infinitely variable speed control for lifting and lowering motions over the entire load range
· Minimum lifting speeds from 0.15 m/min (DCS 1 and 2) and 0.08 m/min (DCS 5)
· Soft starting and precise positioning due to the particularly find control at low speeds
· Gentle positioning and high speed travel in one, as a result of the 1:200 control ratio
· Up to 90% higher nominal speed for partial load or no-load operations due to the unique Pro-Hub feature
· Automatic switchover to low speed prior to reaching the upper/lower stop
· The 10mm switching path and progressive characteristics of the PWM switching elements provide smooth operation and optimum ergonomics
· Acceleration and braking ramps prevent significant load sway
· Hoist speed, acceleration and braking ramps can be simply adjusted by means of the control pendant
· Increased safety by means of motor temperature monitoring
· Operating voltage range of 380-460V/50-60Hz
· The E11/E22 are converted from two speed to infinitely variable speed on the Bridge and Runway when used with the DCS-Pro
. Fully featured instead of extra price list
. Many features are already integrated into the Demag DCS-Pro Chain Hoist as standard that have to be ordered and bought as extras from other suppliers. That is "Standard - Made by Demag", and investment with added value.
· Improved safety and reliability due to the 24V control voltage and operating limit switches
· Gearbox, brake and slipping clutch are maintenance-free fro up to 10 years
· Effective cut-off on overload thanks to speed monitored slipping clutch
· The brake-coupling system ensures that the load is held securely in any operating situation - the load cannot drop
· "Plug & Lift" connections make the hoist simple to install and commission
· Convenient maintenance cover provides for rapid access to all important "Plug-and-Lift" connections, height adjustment of the control pendant and chain lubrication point
· Height adjustable control pendant cable allows you to adjust the pushbutton height without the need for any additional wiring
· The DSC-S Control Pendant is designed for Fatigue-free operation due to ergonomically optimized shape
· U11/U22 trolley featuring infinitely variable adjustment to the flange width for fast and easy installation
· Elapsed operation time counter and diagnostics interface provide information on the operating status so that maintenance breaks can be planned
· The modular chain drive can be quickly and easily replaced without having to remove the motor or gear parts
The DCS-Pro offers outstanding flexibility thanks to its full set of features and can be installed and put into operation in a minimum amount of time.
Variable speeds and low-sway handling with electric travel drive
The DCS-Pro can also be moved simply and easily by hand, either on the new U11/U22 push-travel trolleys or on the KBK rail system. The new E11/E22 travel drives can be for electric travel. They are quickly fitted to the push-travel trolley; the E22 travel drive is used for the new KBK RF-125 friction wheel travel drive. E11/E22 electric travel drives are shipped ready for operation.
· Bridge and Runway motions with the DCS-Pro are infinitely variable
· Travel speeds from 1.6 ft/min to 80 ft/min (0.5 to 24 m/min) up to 100 ft/min (30 m/min) with partial loads
· 24V control voltage
· "Plug & Lift" connections for easy installation
· Inputs for limit switches and fast to slow limit switches are integrated into the control card
· Soft starting and braking are adjustable by means of acceleration and braking ramps
The following settings are possible, as required:
· User-specific modifications of the parameters for travel speed, acceleration and braking parameters via the DSE-10CS Control Pendant
· Load-sway damping can be activated for the cross-travel motion
Ergonomics is the study of human capabilities in relationship to work demands & how to reduce the amount of unnecessary muscular force applied to the body.
